老妈度假，请个保姆照顾五个孩子，不料保姆第一天就因为年迈去世，五个孩子为了要享受自由生活，不愿此事让老妈知道而突然返回，于是将保姆偷偷运至殡仪馆门口，但五个孩子却没有了生活费，只好由十七岁的姐姐姊写假履历应徵到一家服装公司工作，但是却遇到同事设计她，男友吵架误会她，公司经营发生危机，弟妹又把家里搞得一团乱，她该怎么办呢？Single mother goes away for the summer. The kids are first delighted but then find that Mom has hired the sitter from hell to stay with them. When the sitter dies of a sudden coronary they deposit the body at a mortuary only to discover all their summer expense money was in her purse. The kids must find a way to survive the summer without mom or her money. This means actual work!
