Plot Summary:Semalu which means Sensitive Plant in Malay, is a cinematic portrait of the children of a new suburb in Kuala Lumpur. Between a noisy landscape of construction works we see the youngest generation being bored and hanging around. Here they have to discover themselves. And here they discover God.
Semalu在马来文中的意思是 「含羞草」。本片描述在吉隆坡市郊蕉赖区（Cheras）的一群孩子，生活在这个变迁中的现代化城区边缘。作者藉由迷人的视觉效果和沉思般的律动，试图在这个被废弃物和工地包围的、虚假的都市中寻找美丽和灵性，孩子们如何创造一个游乐场、一个平静的所在。
