Plot Summary:Su-hie cannot marry Jung-ho because his Catholic parents object to her mother being a shaman. She begins to recover from their rejection and develops feelings for Yeong-ho but Jung-ho, still in love with Su-hie, stabs the other man in a jealous rage. He is sent to prison but Su-hie turns to her shamanistic roots and prays to the sea god for assistance.
政浩和秀姬计划结婚，但一直信仰天主教的政浩母亲听说秀姬是巫婆的女儿，极力反对这门亲事。政浩陷入彷徨，秀姬和政浩断绝了关系，开始频频和他人交往。秀姬偶然邂逅一位画家，并成为该画家的模特。其实这位名叫李英后的画家正是政浩的姑夫。在毫不知情的情况下，秀姬和英后越走越近。一天，政浩来到姑夫的画室，正巧撞见秀姬和英后幽会。愤怒之下，政浩将英后杀害，秀姬因受刺激过度，精神失常，后被送入医院。看到痛苦的女儿，秀姬的母亲心疼不已。为了女儿的幸福，秀姬母亲选择了自杀。
