Plot Summary:This short was made expressly for and under the auspices of War Activities Committee of the U. S. Treasury Department, and was distributed to theatres at no charge by only National Screen Services, since the War Activities Committee nor the U. S. Treasury Department had no film-exchange offices nor a theatre-distribution set-up. The premise is that it would take 'taxes to beat the axis', and Donald Duck is a reluctant tax-payer until he listens to a radio broadcast concerning the importance of all U.S. citizens to pay their share of taxes, and Donald gets into a conversation with the radio commentator, and learns why it is important to pay taxes to beat the axis.
第二次世界战争爆发，远处太平洋的美利坚合众国也无法置身事外。全国上下同仇敌忾，提倡国家新精神。唐老鸭（克拉伦斯·纳什 Clarence Nash 配音）受到鼓舞，决心投身其中，他不在乎荣誉，也不害怕牺牲，不过对于政府所提的个人所得税缺稍显抵触。殊不知，个人所得税汇聚一起却可以产生对抗邪恶轴心的巨大力量。政府职员不厌其烦指导唐老鸭填写申报个人所得税的表格以及计算税收的方法。激动的唐老鸭甚至亲自将税款送到国税局。个人的力量虽然有限，但是集结全国的力量却可战胜任何入侵的敌人…… 本片为迪士尼公司在二次世界大战期间被政府徵收后，应相关部门要求拍摄的系列宣传短片之一，并获1943年奥斯卡电影金像奖最佳纪录片提名。
