Plot Summary:The sea kingdom of Marinarsa, home of all the fairytale characters, used to be a part of the Earth but drifted away, because people on the planet lost their dreams and hopes. The king and queen decide to send their only daughter, Minky Momo, back to Earth to help humans dream again. Momo has three animal friends that help her and a magic wand to transform into a grown up lady when she needs it. Every good action she takes brings Marinarsa closer to Earth.
フェナリナーサのプリンセスが果たせなかった使命を果たすため、海の底に沈んだ夢の国、マリンナーサのプリンセスがミンキーモモ（以下モモ。特に断りがないかぎり本作品のミンキーモモを指す）の名を継ぎ地上に派遣される。モモは、まだ夢を持つ人が多く残っている、あそこの国のあそこの町にやってきて、妖精が隠れ住む公園に建つホテルの管理人夫婦の子供となる（第1話）。
