Plot Summary:Faustine,now an adult ,wants to know all about her father's death .Loïc , his best friend,goes back in the past: her father ,Bernard ,was once in love with a fifteen-year-old girl ,Alice ,he had met on the fourteenth of July, Bastille day .He asked her to wait till she was eighteen .Breaking his promise, he got married to Faustine 's mother ,but this union was not happy ,in spite of her birth .And a passionate Alice comes back to Porquerolles island,where he lives.
