Plot Summary:Poor Gena works as a crocodile at the zoo. When he catches a bad cold, he asks Cheburashka to go to the zoo for him and tell them that he's taking time off. This causes a problem because Gena is very popular. Cheburashka has the answer: "I'll take his place until he's better!"
ある日の夕方、ワニのゲーナは帰宅途中にいきなり大雨に降られ、傘もささずにびしょびしょで家に戻るも、次の日風邪をひいてしまう。熱にうなされているゲーナの代理で、チェブラーシカが動物園にゲーナの風邪について伝えに行く。動物園ではゲーナの不在に仲間たちが困り果てていたため、チェブラーシカがワニとして働くことに。
