Plot Summary:In Daone, a small mountain village in the North of Italy, a group of grannies in their seventies are planning a special trip. Almost none of them have ever been at the sea, and they want to see it for the first time. But they need the money to fund their journey. After some failed attempts, they decide to face their shyness, and to model for a calendar. When also this action seems to be useless, their last idea will make them pretty famous. The Sea, and their common dream, are waiting for them.
在意大利北部特伦托附近的一个小山村达奥内，一群八十几岁的奶奶正在计划一次特别的旅行。马上就是她们罗多登德罗老年俱乐部成立二十周年了，在这个特殊的日子她们想做一次特别的事情，那就是去海边旅行和进行大雪圣母的庆典。奶奶们几乎都没有去过海边，她们也想在有生之年见一见神秘的大海，但是她们需要一笔资金来筹备这次重要的旅行。奶奶们想了很多办法，比如制作贩卖蛋糕，甚至是克服了自身的羞涩制作了以自己为模特的日历。但是这些措施都收效甚微，资金方面还是没有起色，奶奶们内部也起了冲突。但还是有人不想放弃这个梦想，哪怕只有一次，也要继续努力下去。当奶奶们开始接触互联网之后，事情似乎有了不一样的转机，她们道到底能不能实现梦想呢？
