Plot Summary:Hsiong, a young narcotics officer, hooks up through comic accidents with a party girl named Witty. She shops, plays mahjongg, and charges him for every kiss, and they are in love. When he dies in the line of duty, his ghost stays around for a few weeks, hoping to get Witty's attention, trying futilely face to face and by phone, and then through a relative of hers who claims to have occult powers. Through this shadow cop's investigations, it comes to light how he died and where $10 million is that was the cause of his death. Before he disappears into the void, they leave each other final messages. Can their last wishes come true?
李子雄原是警务署档案组主管，在一次清理资料时，发现警方多宗行动，皆被黑帮闻风先遁，觉得事有跷蹊，遂用电脑作出分析，并将涉嫌警务人员的资料记录在磁碟之内，并将这个发现，告诉女友刘嘉玲。嘉玲是记者之花，但她只钟情于子雄，为此，子雄常被其他警务人员讥笑，子雄因此毅然申请转职行动组，为了此事，嘉玲与他展开准战，并将子雄的电脑磁碟带返警署交还子雄。子雄得到情报，向安帮头目成奎安展开行动，但仍被安捷足先登，移去一切证据，子雄与安纠缠间，子雄中了一记冷枪，返魂无术。子雄死后阴魂不散，时常留恋在嘉玲家中。后来子雄巧遇神探胡大为，胡大为对子雄的不幸深表同情，一方面教子雄与人沟通，另方面协助他追查杀手和找出涉嫌出卖警队的神秘人……
