Plot Summary:Novelist Tang Di's directorial debut engages nudity, masturbation and sadomasochism with fearless chutzpah. Using unconventional split-screen and grungy hand-held camera visuals, Tang deliberately uses intimate and disorientating close-ups to heighten the senses - appropriate for a film about a sexual addict husband who returns as a fugitive from Manchuria after committing murder, and his wife who willingly engages in violent consensual S&M with him.
