With numerous previously unknown documents and photos. Andreas Baader, born in Munich in 1943, was sentenced to life imprisonment in 1977 for fourfold murder and several assassinations. After the failed abduction of the "Landshut" at the airport in Mogadishu, with which the release of 11 RAF prisoners was to be blackmailed, he committed suicide on 18 October 1977 in Stammheim. For the first time, contemporary witnesses, people from Baader's private sphere and his family, such as the daughter of Andreas Baader and Ello Michel, express themselves here. The love letters between Andreas Baader and Ello Michel were made available to the authors.
