Plot Summary:Boule de suif: During the occupation after the Franco-prussian war, a group of people are escaping/fleeing North and to England for safety and so they can keep their money. There are three posh couples, of high and medium statuses, two nuns, a Liberal, and a prostitute called boule de suif which means ball of fat because she's plump. They all travel in a carriage together, and are trapped for several nights in an Inn when a prussian officer won't let them leave without sleeping with boule de suif. Mademoiselle fifi: Prussian soldiers are occupying an abandoned mansion, and are very destructive, the town complies with all their demands except ringing the bells at the time the man in charge (nicknamed Mme. Fifi) wants them to be rung. The soldiers hire prostitutes for a party and for some reason set off a bomb In the living room, and fifi bites one of the girls while kissing.
