Plot Summary:Chucho Flores, a bohemian composer writes a waltz "Carmelita" dedicated to the wife of president Diaz, after listening the waltz the president instructs to Susanito Peñafiel y Somellera seek the composer and to give him a piano as a gratitude token. Susanito finds Chucho, who lives drunk and surrounded by poets, musicians and artists.
