Plot Summary:Cybill Sheridan is a 40-something actress living in Los Angeles. Past her prime and working in an industry that worships youth, Cybill has the remnants of her two failed marriages all around her. Her ex-husbands, stuntman Jeff and novelist Ira, are always hanging around, sometimes sleeping on the couch. Also present are her two daughters, a grandson, and Cybill's hysterical and slightly alcoholic best friend, Maryann.
A struggling, middle-aged actress attempts to make a career in Hollywood, all while surrounded by her hard-drinking best friend Maryann, her two ex-husbands, Ira and Jeff, and her two daughters, headstrong Zoey and agreeable Rachel.
