Plot Summary:An elderly person who lives alone is shot to death in his home. Detective Inuyama and other detectives go to the crime scene. There, they learn that the elderly person's 50 million yen that was hidden is now gone. Meanwhile, a man wakes up in the same apartment complex in Tokyo. He has lost his memory completely. He can't even remember who he is. The man sees the words \"Level 7\" tattooed on his wrist.
毫无征兆的一天，居住在东京一户老旧住宅中的独居老人惨遭杀害，警视厅搜查一课的犬山刑警（佐野史郎 饰）迅速前往现场调查，结果发现老人家中的五千万日元现金不翼而飞。与此同时，在东京都的一处旧公寓内，无名男子（玉木宏 饰）悠然从昏迷中醒来，他丧失了全部的记忆，手臂上不知为何多了一个“Level 7”字样的刺青。他的身边躺着一个美丽女子（杏 饰），对方身旁的纸袋中则放着五千万日元现金以及用染血毛巾包裹着的手枪。吊诡的是，女人醒来之后同样丧失了记忆，而Level 7的刺青也赫然刺在她的手臂之上。这两人究竟是谁？他们和老人被杀一案究竟有着怎样的关系？ 本片根据推理作家宫部美幸的原作改编。
