Plot Summary:Derek is excited because his father Anthony is moving into the home. When Anthony arrives he is a hard-drinking womanizer keen for sex with the female residents but he has been somewhat estranged from Derek and asks him to draw up a wish list to help him to do something nice for his son. Hannah is moved by the result. Vicky puts Derek on Twitter with his message Be Nice to Animals whilst Derek and Dougie are annoyed by new worker Geoffrey, to the extent that Dougie quits his job.
Derek is a loyal nursing home care assistant who sees only the good in his quirky co-workers as they struggle against prejudice and shrinking budgets to care for their elderly residents.
