Plot Summary:"Herman", based on Lars Saabye Christensen's novel of the same name, tells the story of the young boy Herman who suddenly loses his hair and becomes bald at the age of eleven. He follows him through what is a very difficult period in his life, through big mood swings and irrational behaviour until he finally learns to accept himself for who he is.
1岁的赫曼，沉默、自闭，向来很少有女朋友，最常在一起的人是爷爷。母亲在杂货店工作，父亲是起重机的控制员，父母对赫曼全心的照顾反而造成他的心理负担，对期望的恐惧。12岁那年，赫曼得到脱发症，爷爷相继又病逝，才使他对生命改观，把以往恐惧的心理化为生命的力量，勇敢面对未来，走出自缚的领域。
