Plot Summary:Andrés is a humble Filipino fisherman who finds part of a consignment of drugs floating in the sea. Inspired by the myth of Faust, Kabisera (a Tagalog word meaning head of the table) shows us the transformation of a simple man into one capable of selling his soul for money.
A fisherman’s life is soon changed as he discovers the power to realize his family’s dreams – a bag of cocaine in the middle of the ocean. But not long after, the authorities are unto them. And as they attempt to escape it, they find themselves closer to fear, paranoia, suspicion and perversion. Even with their dreams, the family would never be the same again.
