Plot Summary:Satirical sketch show. The first such show in the UK. It ran for two seasons before being pulled just before the 1964 general election.
A ground-breaking, late-night, live satire show which launched a host of careers and kick-started the '60s satire boom. The brilliant, incisive scripts, taking topical pot-shots at the establishment, made it possible to fulfil the show's intention to 'prick the pomposity of those in power'.
