Plot Summary:After the sudden death of their father, four children face cruel treatment from their ruthless grandmother.
本片根据V.C.Andrew备受争议的经典著作改编而成，故事讲述了一个关系复杂情感扭曲的家庭故事。在父亲意外死亡后，自认是花瓶的母亲把兄妹四人带到了祖母的豪宅里，企图获得家族财产。然而祖母的冷酷无情却令孩子们难以忍受、百思不得其解，他们不得不住在狭窄的阁楼里，每天看祖母的脸色生活，然而随着时间的推移，他们才渐渐发现，祖母冷漠严厉的真正原因何在，而这个家庭扭曲复杂的情感关系也仿佛像一个魔咒缠绕着他们青春悸动的心。
